Maturity 45 days. A succulent, cabbage-related plant that will persist well after the first frost. Excellent when boiled or steamed. Also excellent forage for swine, sheep and young stock. This is one of the easiest of all "greens" to grow for Fall, Winter or Spring. Plant anytime from Aug - May in rich fertile soil; the same way you would plant turnips. These excellent greens are also relished by hogs and poultryand the seed may be used as bird seed for finches & canaries. The plants grow about 2' tall.
